Postcard van der Wateren No. 36 In 1959 three special editions (a postcard, an envelope and the first aerogram) were issued on the occasion of Nepal’s admission into the World Postal Union (UPU). In the center of the card a sword is standing on its hilt - representing the power of the Nepalese king. Vertical letters above the sword indicate HULAK PATRA (postcard). Between this and the stamp NAMA THEGANA MATRA (Name and adress) is written.
